Brendan Nichtern, #7 Army, Attackman, Massapequa; 2021- G: 14, AST: 17
Nichtern showed why he was one of the most versatile playmakers in the NCAA when he led the Black Knights to victory over Patriot League rival Holy Cross. He led Army with 5 assists and added a goal in the 13-3 win Saturday afternoon. Nichtern ranks inside the top-15 in assists and inside the top-35 in goals scored this season. The junior leads the team with 31 points scored, 17 points more than the second highest scorer.

Petey LaSalla, #6 Virginia, Faceoffs/Midfielder, Miller Place; 2021- FO: 137-74. FO W%: .649, G: 5
The No.6-ranked Virginia Cavaliers had their hands full against the No.9-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish during Saturday’s marquee matchup. In a game where every possession mattered, LaSalla’s success at the X played a role in the Cavaliers edging out their ACC rivals, 12-11. The junior won 13 of his 25 battles on the center line, besting Kyle Gallagher and Charles Leonard 52-to-48 percent. The faceoff specialist leads the nation with 137 faceoff victories and is among the top-15 specialists with a 65 percent win-percentage.

Shannon Kavanagh, #10 Florida, Midfielder, Smithtown; 2021- G: 28, PTS: 36
The No.10-ranked Florida Gators made quick work out of the winless Cincinnati Bearcats due in large part to the stick of Kavanagh. The senior earned her eighth hat-trick of the season and finished the day with a game-high four goals and an assist. Kavanagh tops the team and AAC in goals and points scored this season. The midfielder has earned a hat-trick in seven consecutive matches and was named the conference midfielder of the week for the second consecutive week.

Dynamic Duo of the Week
John Sidorski and Christian Mule, #10 Lehigh, Attack, East Islip and Dix Hills
The attackman pair has played a big role in No.10-Lehigh topping the Patriot League standings this season. The Mountain Hawks improved to 3-0 in conference play (4-0 this season) by defeating Colgate 15-8. Sidorski and Mule were responsible for a pair of goals each and six points on the afternoon. The duo rank second and third on the team with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Sidorski is also second in assists with nine dished out while Mule’s eight goals are the third most on the team.
